From our La Staffa farmhouse, in Ariana in the province of Valeggio sul Mincio, Sirmione is only 35 minutes away by car, making it an excellent starting point for a weekend to discover Lake Garda and all the villages it is surrounded by!

Starting in the morning from our farmhouse, after a nice healthy and tasty breakfast, in half an hour by car you will arrive just outside the city walls of Sirmione and you will have to park here. Access to the historic center of the city is only for pedestrians and it will be a beautiful walk! You will find yourself skirting Lake Garda, where you begin to encounter the first souvenir shops characteristic of the area. Once you reach the walls of the city of Sirmione, you will begin to see the Scaligero castle, which can also be visited along the perimeter walls.
